Girls. Geeks. Freaks.<\/strong><\/p>

These are the pillars that I'm building House Of Howington with. I've been laying the foundations behind the scenes and I am delighted to finally bring my first 3 t-shirts out - as well as some pretty cool mugs.<\/p>

I wanted these products to introduce me not just as a creative, but as a person. So without further adieu\u2026<\/p>

<\/p>

It Happened Off-Screen<\/em><\/strong><\/p>

For so long those words have been used as a way to excuse lazy writing. I was designing this shirt and playing around with various colours, I ended up stumbling into a rainbow theme - and then it clicked. This is perfect for both queer and neurodigvergent pride. No-one loves creativity more than queer and\/or neurodigvergent people, and we have been on the receiving end of being reduced to hollow stereotypes whilst we were fighting the battles in our own worlds.<\/p>

<\/p>

I want this tee to be a celebration of resilience and resolution - whilst also being a nod to lazy writing and fandom culture.<\/p>

Certified Linux Loser<\/em><\/strong><\/p>

I have been on and off since I was about 12, but 2025 was the year I decided to go full Linux. I mean I was already an Android user but that was the year I decided to remove the clunky Windows from my laptop and replace it with PopOS. And you know what, I'm not ashamed, and you shouldn't be too. Just look at Tux, he's so adorable. Who wouldn't want to be associated with that mascot? <\/p>

<\/p>

And that is exactly who this design is for, the sysadmins who own up to the fact that they are a Certified Linux Loser and love being a part of a community that values tinkering and curiosity - whilst collectively getting frustrated in the terminal at 3:02am.<\/p>

Punks Of Colour<\/em><\/strong><\/p>

I remember conversations being opened up about black people's involvement during the birth of punk music - which has been and still is viewed as a white subculture. Now before anyone comes at me, I am not trying to take punk away from white people especially as I myself am half white. But punks of colour do exist, and it's time that we are heard. <\/p>

<\/p>

Ska-punk is one of my favourite genres of music because of the way it fuses the rhythmic horn-driven sounds of Ska and the raw intensity of punk rock. With Punk\u2019s anti-establishment roots and Second Wave Ska (aka 2-tone) shifting more focus onto social commentary, the fusion was and still is a match made in heaven. It makes me proud to be both British and Jamaican.<\/p>

Now I am by no means a model, but hopefully this has given you an idea about my first three t-shirts and a little bit about what fuels my creative engine.
